What the rules check, and what to expect

A provider lands here by selling one of those. PT-141 counts as the FDA-approved brand, Vyleesi, and a compounded PT-141 on its own doesn't put anyone on the list. A product marked "coming soon" doesn't count either. Then come the six rules: clinician review first, a visible price, a licensed US pharmacy, no research-use compounds, published cancel terms and a signup that works. How picks work has them in full.

TRT is for men whose bodies make too little testosterone, confirmed with blood tests. Enclomiphene isn't FDA-approved, and FDA's advisers voted 4 to 8 against listing it in 2022. HRT treats hot flashes, night sweats and vaginal symptoms. Read TRT explained, menopause HRT and enclomiphene before your visit.

How to choose between the picks

  • Labs before anything ships. Hormone care leans hardest on bloodwork. Many of these products need labs before the first order, so ask whether the lab fee is in the price.
  • The form. Confirm the actual testosterone or menopause formulation currently offered. An approved product, compounded cream and different delivery route need separate indication, safety and monitoring questions.
  • Approved or compounded. Some picks prescribe FDA-approved products and others compound. Approved estradiol and progesterone are already bioidentical; compounded versions aren't FDA-reviewed.
  • A real conversation. Confirm whether clinical communication is by scheduled appointment, written messages or both. Ask about clinician response times, side effects and follow-up rather than assuming portal access means an immediate consultation.

Questions about this list

How much does online hormone therapy cost?
Posted testosterone injection plans span $59–$199.99 a month. Enclomiphene runs $55–$229 and estradiol runs $58.66–$218, each per month. Lab and visit fees can sit on top, and the card says when they do.
Can I get PT-141 from a provider on this list?
PT-141 counts toward the hormones list as Vyleesi, the FDA-approved brand. Compounded PT-141 on its own doesn't put a provider here. Vyleesi is approved for premenopausal women with low sexual desire disorder; use in men is off-label.
Do I need blood tests to start TRT?
Yes. FDA labels cover low testosterone from a diagnosed medical cause, confirmed with blood tests. Expect a lab order before your first prescription and more labs at follow-up.
Is compounded HRT more natural than approved HRT?
Not by that measure. FDA-approved estradiol and progesterone are bioidentical already. Compounded versions aren't FDA-reviewed, so ask your prescriber why one would be chosen over the other.
